If your favorite sneakers have a hole, a scratch or a crack you can cover them.
We are talking about to use a special filling paste design to cover the holes, scratches or cracks. It works on leather, synthetic leather, and rubber midsoles.
The Tarrago Filling Paste creates a flexible layer that covers the imperfections on your sneakers and makes them look news. It is available in 4 different colors. Neutral, medium brown, dark brown, and black.
It is important to remember that the Tarrago Filling Paste doesn't work for Nubuck and Suede.
Thanks to the flexible and filling product's properties, once apply the product it provides a uniform finish.
Once dry, the sneakers can be painted. We recommend using one of Tarrago Sneakers Paint in more than 30 different colors, including a neutral base, fluor paints, and special colors, in two different sizes: 0.8 fl. Oz (25ml) or 4.4 fl. Oz (100ml)
How to use.
- Brush to remove dirt and dust. The sneakers must be clean and dry before applying the product.
- Apply a thin layer of the product with a roller or a spatula trying to cover any holes or cracks or the scratches.
- Let it dry one hour approximately and apply another layer. It is important to not apply too much quantity in each layer. Use the necessary layers to cover completely all the scratches, cracks or holes. In the case of hole covering, we recommend using support for the paste firm.
- Dilute the last layer with water to get a similar texture to the surface. Apply it with a spatula or a cloth to avoid imperfections and provide a homogeneous finish. To speed up the process, use a hairdryer at low temperature and 8 in from the surface. We recommend to let it dry naturally.
- Once the process has finished let them dry for 12 hours.
TIPS:
- If the applied quantity of paste is excessive, it can be removed before painting using ethyl alcohol carefully.
- Store between 41ºF (5ºC) and 95ºF (35ºC)
